Good ol days

Aaahhhh..... That moment after months, it feels like a new life has been granted... Wait wait.... Not to me, to my MSN :p It was never like it was before, I had missed those smileys and the most important of them all, chatting :D

Well I'm the only one to blame for this miss because I created this awkward gap for a reason and I think I've finally managed what I wanted to do. As they say,  you never get something without losing something, I lost those night full of chatting :(

All those awkward disagreements, some memories were shared, music, movies, TV shows, friends, life, education, pictures, copied jokes, accusations of boredom, food, cricket ,those chats had every thing, EVERY SINGLE THING was a part of our chat !!! And why not, she is my best friend ( I know she'll puke while reading it). I wish I get those days back when near Bakra Eid, I had some awesome moments of my life and the day we both were included in KarachiTips Blog team, the hard fought matches that Pakistan won against Sri Lanka, it'd have been such fun sharing and discussing all that with her.

Enough of those sentimental sentences, well it resumed last night, not quite the way it used to be. It'll take some time though. But it was great, having to wait for the reply, some disagreements and some serious talks, deliberately failing to understand other's point, it was like breathing in fresh air after hiding inside a cave for years. Zyada hogaya thora and I think I became senti again :P

To wrap it up, she said yesterday that it isn't that we should start talking like before, there should be some special occasion. Kyun na I make every single night a special occasion? ;)

Well-come back

I'm sure that the person to whom this post is dedicated will surely get it by its title :p Well I couldn't have been much more excited right now, I had this news 50% confirmed two days ago by my sources, but its certain now :D
No one can tell about how excited I am at the moment. I just hope that everything remains fine and we enjoy every single bit that we can. Its also time to take out all that stuff (somehow) hidden in my not so personal drawer :p
As for our little jhagra, well its not intense any more, is it? I've been collecting some clues but our egos don't let us end it. Right?

Btw, I do know what I was doing, when suddenly we fell apart. But when we'll meet, we'll get a brand new start :p Hain na? :D

Once again, Welcome :)

Randomness redefined: part 2

The first post of this series was all about me and my life style. Well this post is totally different from it and it describes the meaning of LOVE, according to me (obviously). The idea of this post came to my mind three days ago when I was laying on my bed and as usual everything was flashing back in my mind and the idea behind the title is that I had no idea of the title describing my post well, it was just a silly one, the definition of love *pukes* (Idiotic ideas, I know )

Let me make one more thing clear, the sentences might not be well structured because I've fallen in love with a song some hours ago and trying to remember it as soon as possible and imitating as if I'm world's best singer at my favourite part of the song (As a matter of fact, I'm a pathetic singer. Thank you) and starting it all over again just as it reaches its middle part.

Enough of the song, I define love as HABIT !! ( I know its weird but please continue reading ). I'm a movie fanatic (Bollywood mostly), some personal experiences and experience of solving some relationships, from those I've concluded that you love someone because you become habitual of them. We have seen it quite often that a couple that share a room, office or a project eventually fall in love and then all those melodramas of love begin. They come close to each other because they spend most of the day with each other and they share everything between them. That is totally human nature because most of us share everything inside us with the person who have been close to us for a month or so. People become so habitual of the other's personality, behaviour, presence, voice and everything related to them. Even though they have some dislikes and difference of opinion with each other, but either they try to test those dislikes, (For example, one of them didn't believe in this vampires and stuff and other was such a big fan of it, suddenly the one who disliked it started to watch that stuff and became such a big fan of it) or they try to compromise with their arguments and as some great person said, 'Love is compromise'.

That was what I thought about the definition of love, its love when you become habitual of someone and you are habitual of someone when you cant live without them. It does make sense with my theory na? Share your views and do tell me if you agree or disagree with me :)

Pakistan vs England: Preview

The Pakistan vs England series is all set to commence on Tuesday, 17th Jan. 2012,  with first Test Match at Dubai. The series has mostly been controversial, especially in the last half decade or so. As England is the No. 1 test team and keeping Pakistan’s current form in mind, the series has been evenly poised.

The controversies goes back to 1987 when on Pakistan’s tour, Mike Gatting was furious about umpiring decisions and pointed a finger at the umpire Shakoor Rana in the second test at Faisalabad.

That moment when Mike Gatting threatened the umpire.
The controversies didn't end and they hit back in 2000, when the Karachi Test continued till it became dark and England was able to win. Then comes 2006 when England had taken an unassailable lead of 2-0 and on the fourth day of last test, the Australian umpire Darryl Hair, accused Pakistani bowlers of Ball Tampering. After the lunch break, the then Captain of Pakistani Team, Inzimam ul Haq, refused to lead the team out on field as protest while the batsmen and umpire were waiting in the middle. After a few discussions, the umpire called the match off and England were declared winners.

The controversies of 2006 series were finally forgotten when another one struck in 2010. Aamir had bowled the spell of his life when at the close of play, the tabloid News Of The World revealed that he has bowled No Balls along with Mohammad Asif, deliberately. As almost everyone know it now, they are now in prison along with Salman Butt, who was the mastermind behind all this.

Jail sentence for all the culprits
Controversies aside, Pakistan vs England have been a great contest nevertheless. They both have met 21 times in Test series since 1954 with England winning 10 of them while Pakistan has only managed to win 5. England has the upper hand on ODI series too, winning 6 while Pakistan have managed just 2 out of 11 played overall.
The high scoring matches in early 70s, Abdul Qadir's 8 wickets in an innings, the Doosras of Saqlain Mushtaq and Googlies of Mushtaq Ahmed, finishing innings of Graham Thorpe, Inzimam and Yousuf, the heroics of Umar Gul and batting of Trott and Staruss, the series has ever been evenly matched.

Although the English team is the No.1 ranked team in the world, but keeping Pakistan's recent form in mind, both team's winning the highest number of Test matches in 2011, the series will be an epic one and let's just all pray that it remains controversy free :)

Good luck to Pakistan Cricket team, lets just show England that we are better than them.
Be Green. Feel Green. Live Green. Bleed Green. :)

Stress

Wikipedia describes stress as a negative concept that can have an impact on one’s mental and physical well-being. I’m surrounded by many people who take tensions and have hurt them very badly because of it.

What can happen to you if you take so much stress.

My mum is a great example of it. She takes so much of stress and gets panic so much easily. I’m late only 5 minutes from my class and I’ll certainly receive a call. She not only takes my tension, but others’ tensions too. My uncle has gone abroad and she just can’t get over it. She has lost her sleep for couple of weeks. Not only our immediate family members, she takes tensions of even acquaintances. A relative of a family member was ill and they had some financial difficulties, because of them, my mums sugar levels deteriorated.

Then there are people who keeps everything inside them and get depressed. When asked, they say that its their matter and no one knows about its intensity. The matters just keep revolving inside them and they are the only one to blame for it.

As for advice, I’d like to ask the stressed people to care about themselves first. I know its so much difficult for some people but you gotta do it. For people like my mum, stop caring for others. Care for those who care for you. Ask anyone else who takes tensions for you, who lose their sleep for you. You then have every right to care for them and take their tensions. Do as much as you can for others but don’t let it take over you.

For the latter, spill out what’s inside you. Talk whatever you are hiding with your parents, siblings or best friends. Whatever their opinion is, just don’t let it bug you. Never ever keep anything inside you, talk it out, always !!

I’ve been sometimes criticised and labelled as a cold hearted person. No I’m not. I just don’t tell people about my tensions. They never know what is inside me. If the tension’s too much, I just put on my headphones on full volume and do this, blogging or social networking. I take it out here, I tend to keep a smiling face and plan ahead. I plan every action and that is why, I normally don’t have many tensions and that is why I’m a self proclaimed THE GREAT PLANNER

p.s. I might be yelled at in a couple of moments so ending it here, leave your comments stressed people :p

Handwriting

Since I started school, my handwriting has been poor. Then there was the time when I entered Class 1, my parents always asked to write like this. Doing so, it deteriorated my writing much and then there was a time when only I was able to read what was written.

One day, suddenly a teacher whom the whole school feared for her strictness, took up the mission to improve my handwriting. She never knew that its Mission Impossible for her. All she managed was to make me write straight and at least understandable.

Soon after that I had to adopt fountain pens and it didn't help at all before I found the evergreen Dollar SP10 known as 'Injection Pen'.

Eff Parker, SP10 FTW

It was my companion till O levels when again I had to shift to ball point pens for ACCA, all because of this stupid electronic marking -.-
Tell me if you can read anything :P

This is the best piece of writing that I can do :D

Randomness redefined !!!

This pic is mistaken, I don't have such biceps :p
That white thing is my Persian cat ♥
As the title says, this post is totally random. Main purpose behind this post is to show how I spend my time at home, in pyjamas or shorts.

I have been criticised many times and by many people about my dressing or fashion sense. I have a simple reply to it. I don't care about fashion or dressing, I just like myself the way I am. Its all easy for me in trousers and shorts. I wear jeans very less, mostly while going for classes or special gatherings. I've been criticised about colour combinations, I still don't care about it. I just take out a shirt, wear it and go out. Never ever think about it twice. Hairstyle, I've been fond of long hair always. Because of school and other restrictions, never had long hair but I did manage to grow them till my collar in June. And now, as you can see, my hair always remain messy or disturbed. Whenever I have to go out, I just put up my United cap and it all settles well.

I never liked wearing watches, bands or stuff. Cell phones made it easy for time checking, so the excuse for watch remained no more. People spend so much money on perfumes or deodorants, I wear them once in a blue moon, mostly when I'm going for a wedding or special gathering with friends. I know some people (guys) who spend so much on facials, beauty products and spend hours in salons, I don't care about oddly grown facial here or as said earlier, messy hairstyle.

Moving on to food, I'm a foodie but at times, I've strange taste. I don't like ketchup, mayonnaise or other sauces. When it comes to burgers or fried chicken, I like the original thing, I don't go for extras. I can have chocolate with anything. Just two days ago I was laughed at after I said that I'll be having Zinger with Hot Chocolate. My meal is incomplete without meat, any type of meat and when I've nothing to eat ( what I like), I just half-fry an egg and have it with bread. my day is incomplete if I don't have an egg.

Like me or not, I might remain like this forever.

I am what I am and I'm proud of what I am !! Problem?! Leave.

With all these weird facts about me, I'm proud of myself for the fact that I've never had a cigarette or a single puff of shisha. I've never had a single chhaliya or other bad stuff such as Gutka.

According to the title, I think mischief has been managed :p

p.s. Happy New Year :)

Fast and Furious

Let me first tell you that I'm the only driver at my home. I've been driving for more than 3 years now and I'm not yet allowed to drive alone. No one else knows a thing about driving at my home, but every time I drive, I've been consistently instructed on how to drive and what to do.

So coming back to the point, yesterday, late night my uncle suddenly called and we planned to drive to Clifton to Abdullah Shah Ghazi's Mazaar. Rather taking the normal route, we chose the Lyari Express Way. Clam and quiet, what a fast drive it was. Reaching 100 Kmph in a car that is unaligned was a great experience. The steering kept wobbling and the control was difficult.

Any ways, we reached our destination, did Fatiha, had a Qulfi and after it, the real thing began. Just as we touched Shahah e Faisal from Kala Pul, the race began. Shahrah e Faisal became a race track for us. I had my mother and grandmother sitting with me. All I heard during the whole journey was "Zain, Slow !!", "Zain, are you deaf??", "Zain, what's the point of going that fast?". But a driver can tell how much thrilling it was, cutting between the cars and buses, one hand on the horn and keeping up with the other car.

There were also moments when the car was bumping because of the road, some emergency breaks, and heart in mouth moments. Overall it was such a splendid drive with thrills and action. Loved every bit of it !!!

Dream Girl

Kabhi to milay gi, kahin to milay gi, aaj nahin to kal, Dream Girl !!!

Just for the time pass. This post may cross all the limits of lameness, so please keep your feelings inside yourself, I'd not like to be on their receiving end :D

As the title says, the post describes my dream girl. The features are set out below :
  1. Waist long hair FTW.
  2. Passion for education/studies. The girl who has been a high achiever in her school is the one in my dreams.
  3. Wears Hijab <3
  4. Foodie. If she's a good cook, we'll make a great couple because I like cooking too.
  5. A girl who likes to be simple. The girl who's happy without makeup. (As a matter of fact, no girl in this world is happy without makeup :p). Girl who does what she wants.
  6. Girl who can do shopping very fast. I hate it when I have to just roam around in the mall for hours and comes home without even a single bag.
  7. Colour: I don't like milky, colourless blondes. Chocolaty colour FTW.
  8. A girl who's cosy, isn't too much possessive.
  9. The girl who's into the melodious music of 90s and 80s.
There were so many things but they're not coming in my mind at the moment.

Now you're allowed to call me Chhichhora, maila, flirt, despo, no lifer or whatever, I won't care. It was just for some fun and time pass

p.s. Ladies, do fill that form ;)
